Paths of exile: monuments of La Vajol, Mina Canta and Coll de Manrella

Please note:

Scheduled activities are part-time (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Pre-registration is required and the activity is subject to a minimum number of registrants.

The trips are made in the participant’s own transport and lunch is not included.

We will start the day visiting the most emblematic monuments of La Vajol. We will follow the route on foot until we reach the Mina Canta, an old talc mine where Juan Negrín ordered a consignment of works of art from the Prado Museum, as well as the funds and currency of the Bank of Spain.

Returning from the mine, we will drive to the Coll de Manrella, one of the important border crossings of the time, where we will find the famous monument to Lluís Companys.
