The Sant Tomàs de Fluvià Romanesque church dates back to the 11th century. The best conserved wall paintings in Alt Empordà can be seen in the nave and the apse. The Theophanic vision has been conserved in this picturesque cluster, with the elders of the Apocalypse, and the Lord Almighty surrounded by the Tetramorph and angelic figures in the apse. The other vision that has been conserved is that of the cycle of the passion and the glorification. These paintings date back to the 12th-13th centuries.
