The Sant Mamet de Riumors church, built in 1019, must have been rebuilt during the second half of the 12th century as news of its consecration was published in 1150. According to historians, this early Romanesque church was destroyed after the downpours of 1421.

Some of the 17th and 18th century country houses feature tile panels from the 19th century with signs alluding to the different services offered by the inhabitants to the Xamunar Household; the great owners of the land who bore the title of the marquises of Riumors. In one of the farmhouses we can read: “Palacio Petit de la casa Xamunar” (Small Palace of the Xamunar household).
