In the village of Garriguella, in the heart of the Empordà, find the cellar Mas Llunes, a cellar founded by the family Roig, with a winegrowing tradition of 700 years.
The philosophy of this familiar cellar is to elaborate his wines exclusively from the grapes of his own vineyards and prioritising the use of the autochthonous varieties of the Empordà, which sew allows us control all the process, from the work to the vineyard until the bottled of the wine finished.
The cellar is received to the Catalan Council of the integrated Production, practising an agriculture and respectful preparation with the Environment and the human health.
The result of this work and way to do has been recognised distinct times in national contests, international and in guides of wines. The last awards have been a medal of gold by the black wine Rhodes 2013 in the Brussels Worldwide Concours and a medal of gold by the garnacha Ambre to the Contest du Monde. The Maragda Blanc 2015 and the Muscat Dolç 2013 obtained the Stamp of Quality Agroalimentaria, Excellent Girona.
In addition to the preparation of the wines stand out the wide ecotourism offer. We make visits to the cellar, the vineyards and distinct activities during all the year, like the enohistoric visit to the field of aviation of the civil war and to the bunkers that wrap the landscape empordanés winegrowing, tastings of oils, honeys among others.
July and August: Of Monday to Saturday 10h to 14h and 16h to 20h.
Rest of the year: Saturdays, Sundays and festive of 10h to 14h.
