Palamós, L’Estartit, L’Escala, Roses, Port de la Selva and Llançà still preserve activities linked to the world of fishing, such as the arrival of the fishing boats, the auction, the fish market and even outings with fishermen. Palamós also offers a combination of gatronomy and culture, thanks to its Fishing Museum and the Espai del Peix. In l’Escala, the Fish Interpretation Centre (MARAM) and the Anchovy and Salt Museum (MASLE) also countain valuable maritime and fishing legacy from the territory.
