Bassegoda Park is a family campsite and a category bungalow park that is located in Albanyà (Alt Empordà) in the province of Girona. This town is the best place to enjoy exceptional starry nights, thanks to the quality of your sky. For this reason, the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) granted the recognition of the first International Dark Sky Park in Spain. The Albanyà Astronomical Observatory, located in the same area, will allow you to discover the beauty of the Albanyà sky. Next to the Muga River, the campsite is ideal for enjoying nature and its surroundings, and for practicing many activities with the family. Bassegoda Park is located in the Alta Garrotxa Natural Park (PEIN), 7 km from the medieval town of Sant Llorenç de la Muga, and 25 km from Figueres, the city of Salvador Dalí where you will find the Dalí Museum, and close to the Costa Brava, where you can enjoy the beach and sun excellence offer in the counties of Girona.
The Bassegoda Park camping has different types of bungalows, with capacities between 2 and 7 people, where our customers will find all the comforts that a campsite of the 1st category offers. The themed weekends, proposals designed for a family audience, complement the entertainment program offered by the campsite throughout the year. Bassegoda Park is a BTT information point (mountain bike) and is part of the GR11 Gran Via trail, which connects the Alt Empordà and the Costa Brava to the Cantabrian, and has two stages in Albanyà. Conscious of the conservation of its environment, the campsite is prepared to comply with waste management and energy efficiency regulations.
