Ventalló

We should highlight the Assumpta Romanesque chapel in the village of Pelacalç; the pre-Romanesque Sant Andreu church (the old one), built in the 10th century with two apses that were added in the 16th century, located in the village of Vila-robau; the Sant Miquel church built in the late gothic style (17th century); the Sant Sadurní church, with Romanesque origins and built in the 17th-18th centuries in Montiró; the Santa Eugènia de Saldet Romanesque church (11th-12th centuries), which was enlarged during the 19th century; the Santa Maria de l’Om church, originally in the Romanesque style (11th century) and later modified, in Pelacalç; and the Sant Vicenç de Valveralla parish church.

The Ventalló pools cover an extensive area and are the result of quarrying dry goods. They have now been adapted as a leisure area for water sports. It has a swimming area, a sailing port, an artificial climbing wall and gymkhana, a look-out point, a picnic area and different areas for walking or cycling. The main activity on the large lake is water-skiing.
