Description
A system of enclosed meadows, lagoons and irrigation channels lying between the Muga and the Fluvià rivers and forming a natural area brimming over with biodiversity, and a veritable paradise of birds and unspoilt beaches that dominates the Empordà plain and Roses bay. 93 species of birds go there to breed, and during migration periods as many as 323 different species can be sighted. The diversity and wealth of the landscape itself is also noteworthy, with river systems, dune banks, brackish pools, farmland etc. |
