CIUTADELLA DE ROSES

Description:

Walled enclosure that contains remains from different eras and occupations. It contains on of the two Greek settlements of the peninsula, a Roman village, a Romanesque church and a medieval city. All of which in an area of great beauty and interest. In 1961, it was declared a National Historic-Artistic Collection. Av. Rhode, s/n

UBICATION
By road - From N-II, we catch the C-260 direction to Roses, the Citadel finds it in the entrance of the municipality.
On foot - From the center Roses, we must follow the marine walk in direction to Santa Margarita. We will find on the right, to the other side of the road.
In train - The nearest stop is Figueres.
In bus - Sarfa has daily buses from Barcelona, Girona, Figueres, Cadaqués, Llançà and Port de la Selva.
