Cal Governador is an old manor-house dating from the early 1700´s, with a magnificent porticoed terrace that is delightful in good weather at any time of the year, and a small wood of ancestral pine-trees, not forgetting its spacious garden with its lawn surrounded by limes and plane-trees, under which one can always have a nap in a hammock. There is also room, however, for a little more activity: a ping-pong table on the terrace, books and board-games in the lounge, or the swimming-pool (private and unattended) which is filled by the water from the underground passage that passes under the more than 5,000 square metres of the property.
